If you are an instructor using this book in your class, you will find resources to aid in your teaching. For example, you will find all of the figures, charts, tables, and computer code from the book in both PowerPoint and .pdf format. You can download this material for each chapter, and use it to create transparency masters for your lectures. In this way, you can use examples from the book in lecture and not have to recreate the material. Further, you will have additional review material to assign students should you wish to do so. Read on below under student resources…

If you are a student using this book in class, you will find a number of helpful aids. For example, you will find all of the computer code examples from the book available for download. This enables you to cut and paste the code instead of retyping it to get the programs to work. Thus, you can concentrate on learning and not spend time typing lines of code, and then dealing with frustrating errors. Also, you will find it very helpful to utilize the Interactive Review Questions feature. In your book, you will note a section in each chapter that has Review Questions, written to help you get more practice. Those review questions are also available online, with access to all of the answers interactively. This should allow you to get a lot of extra practice, and excel when it comes time to be tested on the material. To access the Interactive Review Questions, simply select a chapter from the menu below, and then select the question type from the menu of options on the top left.

We hope you find these resources helpful!
