Chapter 10: The Nervous System 2: The Brain and Cranial Nerves
Destinations

The Web has many interesting sites that supplement basic introductory chapters in anatomy and physiology. Many of these sites have text combined with diagrams and/or figures, sometimes shown as short animations or movies to illustrate the three-dimensional nature of body structures and organization. Be sure to venture into some of the links provided at these sites for further exploration of the topic of interest.

CRANIAL NERVES
Each selected cranial nerve has an accompanying chapter with an overview, description, and results of damage to the nerve. Information is at a maximum, but it is very understandable. The diagrams are outstanding.

VIRTUAL HOSPITAL: THE HUMAN BRAIN
Excellent site. There are dissections and labeled drawings to be studied and reviewed.
